Former Haughton High School star Dak Prescott now highest paid football player in NFL history

Dak Prescott was on college recruiters' radar long before Haughton's undefeated season and District 1-AAAA high school championship in 2010. Twice named first-team All-SEC during his run at Mississippi State, Prescott joined the Dallas Cowboys in 2016. Sunday, the former Haughton Buccaneer star was offered a history-making new contract with the Cowboys just hours ahead of the 2024 regular season kickoff against the Cleveland Browns.
