Tropical storm expected to strengthen, impacting Louisiana midweek
Tropical Storm 6 will likely be upgraded to the named storm Francine this week. The National Weather Service says the effects of the Gulf of Mexico-based storm will be felt in extreme southern Texas beginning Tuesday.
