Bossier Parks and Recreation gets set for opening day of soccer season

Now we know fall is really at our doorstep. Bossier Parks and Recreation has announced that soccer league play will begin tomorrow, Saturday, September 21, 2024.

“We are expecting over 2,000 to attend for the day — counting, players, coaches, parents and fans.” Coach Clay Bohannon said. He added that the first day of the season is always “a great time and there is excitement in the air.”

In fact, many sports are kicking into high gear at Tinsley Park — the Bossier City Sports Complex.

There will be a girls softball tournament going on as well.
