NEW DETAILS: Quick arrest but no motive in shocking homicide near Benton

Authorities made a quick arrest but are still looking for a motive in the shooting death of an elderly man in a neighborhood just south of Benton Thursday night. It is the first homicide in Bossier Parish in 2024.
