Bossier term limits: Charter Commission Chairman says opponents are trying to 'find ways to have me removed'

The effort to put term limits for local political offices up for a vote of the people may be in jeopardy. A final meeting of the Bossier City Charter Commission is to convene at 9 a.m. Tuesday morning, however, the Chairman of the Commission, Preston Friedley, tells BossierNow that opponents of term limits are trying to push him out of his chairmanship and are attempting to rescind the commission's prior approval to put the matter before Bossier City voters.
